10 ways to fill your cup

Feeling overwhelmed and on the edge of burnout very often goes hand in hand with an input/output imbalance.

Have you been giving more than you are getting? And when you are getting; are you getting the right things?

If you spend most of your time filling up other people’s cups with whatever it is they need from your cup, your cup will eventually go empty.

So how do you fill your cup? With things, experiences, people and activities that make you happy!

What do you enjoy doing? What gives you energy?

Dancing? Singing? Painting? Playing football? Good food? Watching a play? Tennis? Reading a good book? Going for a walk? Hanging out with your friends? A good cup of coffee in complete peace? Meditating?

Create a list of a minimum of 10 things you thoroughly enjoy doing and hang the list somewhere in your home where you see it every day, so that you are reminded daily to take action on these soul remedies.

Don't dispair if these new ways of filling your glass don't pick up immediately. All change takes time. But if you stick to it long enough these changes will implement and become habits - things you do without thinking twice.
