Are you staying hydrated?

Do you drink enough water?

It's so important to stay hydtrated. Did you know that our bodies are made up of 55-60% water? Water plays a vital party in many of our daily bodily functions; brain function, mood, stabilising body temperature and digestion, to name but a few.

Aim for 2 liters a day and stick to it - even when it's cold outside and becomes easier to forget. In fact, try to drink at least 500ml of water first thing after waking up in the morning (add a pinch of celtic or pink himalayan salt). That way you have already secured 1/4 of your daily intake.

Another way to ensure you drink water throghout the day is by purchasing a refillable water bottle and then using elastic bands to remind yourself how much you have been drinking. E.g. in the morning, when you fill the bottle, you place 4 elastic bands on the outside of the bottle - one elastic band per bottle of water you plan to drink that day. Then, every time you refill the bottle you also remove an elastic band, essentially keeping track of your water intake.

Give it a go!
