You are constantly consuming. Even when you think you aren't, I promise you that you are. Because while we tend to use the word consume about what we eat and drink (which is incredibly important too!), we actually consume so much more than that:
What you watch. Make sure you watch things that lift your spirits rather than bring you down (maybe take a break from the news, watch a comedy rather than a sad movie, follow people that inspire you on SoMe and unfollow the profiles that make you feel like crap)
Your thoughts. Watch your thoughts. Are they positive and happy? Or do you mainly focus on the darker sides of life?
Your surroundings. How do you live? Does your home give you a warm, relaxed feeling? Or are you surrounded by clutter, rubbish, heaps of laundry and dishes that really need cleaning?
Who you hang out with. Do you hang out with people who believe in you and support you? Or do they criticise you and make you feel down?
Try to really break your life down in small parts and notice where the energy could need a little pick me up. Maybe a good clean / decluttering would work wonders? Or maybe you should place the TV in the attic for a while (that's where ours is and has been for years - highly recommend it!)? Those 'friends' that make you feel bad? How about muting them? Instead, you could maybe take up a hobby and meet new people who share your interests. And those thoughts... Try to really notice them. Do they need a little reframe?
